For the past four or five years, I have always had an amazing time celebrating Mardi Gras. However, none of those previous years could compare to the amount of fun that I had this year. The reason for that is because I actually spent Mardi Gras in New Orleans this year, and it was an experience that I know I’m never going to forget.
If you have never had an opportunity to experience Mardi Gras in New Orleans, it is one of those things that I think everyone needs to do at least once during their life. I know that I probably won’t be able to go to New Orleans for every future Mardi Gras (although I honestly would if I could), but I definitely plan on making it down there at least every two to three years.
It’s hard to explain just how much fun the Mardi Gras celebration in New Orleans really is, but I can honestly say that it’s one of the best experiences that I have ever had in my life!
