Three months ago was my wife’s birthday. About two months before the date of her birthday, I started thinking about what I wanted to get her for her birthday. I normally always get her something along the lines of a nice piece of jewelry, and although she always loves the birthday gifts that I give her, I decided that I wanted to do something extra special for her this year. I talked to a couple of my buddies about what I could do for her, and one of them suggested taking her on a trip. I thought this sounded like a great idea, so I looked at a couple of trip destinations online and ended up choosing New Orleans.

I surprised my wife on her birthday with the news that we were going to be taking a four day trip to New Orleans in one week. She was very excited, and a week later, we left for our trip to New Orleans. I’m very happy with my choice of New Orleans, because we had a wonderful trip together. If you are taking a trip there yourself, be sure to reserve a rental car before you arrive in New Orleans. There’s a lot to do there, and it would be a shame to miss out because you didn’t have a way to get around the city.
