Earlier this year, I took a five day trip to New Orleans with my girlfriend. We both realized that we had some vacation time that we needed to use soon, so we decided to take a mid-year break and enjoy ourselves in the city of New Orleans. Although New Orleans isn’t exactly like it used to be, it’s still a great city, and it is being rebuilt to be stronger and more vibrant than ever before.

Since we didn’t have a very strict itinerary for our trip, we knew that we would want to do a lot of exploring around the city. We are both big fans of food, and New Orleans is one of the best places in the United States for great food. Prior to our trip, we had made a rental car reservation online through Enterprise, and on the day we arrived, we called them and they came and picked us up (just like the commercials you regularly see on television). The woman who picked us up was very friendly, and it started our trip off in a nice way. We got a reliable car that allowed us to go all over the city of New Orleans at a very reasonable price.
