Although the city of New Orleans has been through a lot of tragedy in the last few years, the citizens of New Orleans are working hard to rebuild their beloved city and come back stronger than ever. While there are still plenty of visual reminders in New Orleans of the tragedy that struck three years ago, the city is beginning to regain its lively roots.

If you have an opportunity to take a trip to New Orleans, I highly recommend going. Not only will it give you a true appreciation for what the citizens of New Orleans have been through, but you will also have a wonderful time experiencing the city’s culture. Although much of the city was damaged, the people never lost their New Orleans spirit.

Because of everything that the city has been through, you should be sure to rent a car when you visit New Orleans. This will ensure that you can get everywhere you want to go, and will also allow you to drive to some of the hardest hit areas and see just how powerful the forces that swept through New Orleans three years ago were.
