The Mardi Gras World attraction in New Orleans is certainly an experience that you will want to have. Tickets are not very expensive and they are some of the leading celebration creators and event holders around the world. The Mardi Gras World in New Orleans has a special studio where they create floats for the parade and much more. When traveling to the New Orleans area during the Mardi Gras season, it is important that you look into the special celebrations held by the Mardi Gras World run by Blaine Kern. The actual celebration is held on Mardi Gras, or Fat Tuesday in February. The 2010 celebration is in the works and it is going to be the biggest celebration to date. Make sure that you are there by having a reliable form of transportation and ensure that you have all of your travel needs met to get there. Plenty of people will be using a rental vehicle to really get the chance to see the celebration!

Car rental options are a great choice, especially if you want to be able to get there during the actual days of the celebration. To ensure that you have a great vehicle available to you during Mardi Gras, you need to ensure that you reserve a vehicle as far in advance as possible. This will allow you to have the vehicle you need without being subject to availability when you arrive at the rental desk in New Orleans. This is also a great way to save money on the vehicle you need. It is commonplace for the available options to also sell out closer to the celebration dates because more people join the celebration each and every year as it becomes popularized by the media and several different publications!

If you haven’t been to New Orleans before but are planning a trip there, you are in for a really fun time. Although the city of New Orleans has been through a lot, not only has it not broken the spirit of the people who live there, but the city itself is still a vibrant place.

To really get a feel for a place like New Orleans, you really have to go out at night and get a taste of what the local nightlife has to offer. Since I know it can be difficult for people to find bars that have a solid local vibe and aren’t solely dedicated to getting tourists in through their doors, here are some places you can go to have a really good time without feeling like a cheesy tourist:

Maple Leaf Bar: If you want a taste of life in the Big Easy, this is the place to go. The bartenders smoke, the drinks are cold and inexpensive, the place is friendly to dogs, and you can find great live bands filling the place with music.

Pirates Alley Cafe: What’s really great about Pirates Alley Cafe is not only can you enjoy some drinks here, but you can also eat great food here. However, the real highlight of Pirates Alley Cafe is that they serve absinthe. If you’ve never had a chance to try absinthe before, this is the place for you to go.

Parasol’s Bar: If you haven’t had a poboy before, you’re missing out, and if you have, then you know they’re absolutely delicious. Regardless of which category you fall into, you can go to Parasol’s Bar to get a great tastingpoboy, and then follow it up with an ice cold drink.
