I don’t know about you, but I am absolutely ecstatic for Mardi Gras. Mardi Gras is a holiday that I always enjoy celebrating, but this year I’m even more excited than usual. The reason that I am so excited for Mardi Gras this year is because I am actually going to be going down to New Orleans to celebrate this huge event. Last year, we were celebrating Mardi Gras in my home city, and all of my friends started talking about how fun it would be to go to New Orleans next year for Mardi Gras. While I knew they were all right, I also knew that none of them would take the initiative to actually plan trip.

About a month later, I talked to all of my friends, and asked which ones would go to New Orleans for Mardi Gras if I made the arrangements. Almost all of them said yes, so I got busy making arrangements for everything from our flight to our New Orleans car rental. It was a lot of work, but I know it will all be worth it when we are celebrating Mardi Gras in the amazing New Orleans!

Although I wasn’t born in New Orleans, I did live there for six years when I was a child. My family and I moved to New Orleans when I was starting the fourth grade, and then we ended up moving to a new city after I finished my freshman year of high school. I know a lot of people who say that it was really hard on them to move to different cities when they were a child, but this was something that I never had a problem with. I guess it’s because I have always been really social and outgoing, but I never had a problem making new friends (especially during my time in New Orleans). Even when we moved to a new city before the start of my sophomore year in high school, I was able to pick up a great group of friends in a really short amount of time.

Since I still stay in touch with several of the friends I made in New Orleans, I make it a point to go there at least once every couple of years and spend some time hanging out with several of the people who made my childhood such a great experience.

Although New Orleans has obviously been through a lot in recent years, my brother has called New Orleans home for more than ten years, so he has not let any of the events that have taken place there deter him from wanting to continue calling New Orleans home. Obviously, there was a point in time when he had to be evacuated from New Orleans, but as soon as he received the word that it was safe to return to New Orleans, he made his way back there and started helping with all of the efforts to revive the city.

Even though things aren’t perfect in New Orleans, a lot of progress is being made, which is why I wanted to go down to New Orleans to visit my brother. I went down there last month, and really enjoyed the four days I got to spend with my brother. I have to say that I was really impressed with all of the hard work that has been put into the city. Because my brother is so passionate about New Orleans, it’s a lot of fun to go around the city with him because he has so much knowledge about the culture and history of this great city.

If you are wondering whether or not New Orleans is still around after all of the events that have taken place there during recent years, I am happy (and proud) to tell you that New Orleans is still going strong. Although it’s quite obvious that they took a major blow, New Orleans is an extremely resilient city, and it’s a place that’s not going to disappear without a serious fight.

The reason that I know New Orleans is still going strong is because that is where I am going to be spending the holidays. I have multiple family members who live down in New Orleans, and although it’s not always the place that we choose to go for the holidays, my entire family felt like it would be the best place for us to go this year. We want to show our family members there that we truly love and care about them, and we thought that the best way to do this would be to actually go down there and spend time with them during the most important time of the year.
